Antonin "Sixth Amendment" Scalia
Justice Antonin "Sixth Amendment" Scalia wrote the majority decision that crime lab reports may not be used against a defendant unless the crime analyst testifies. Per the NYT, Scalia wrote that the Constitution would require the right to cross-examine witnesses even if, "all analysts always possessed the scientific acumen of Mme. Curie and the veracity of Mother Teresa." That is one amusing line. New York Times story about case. CPF
