Filing the Motion



I changed the female figure from a secretary to a new clerk. Seemed a better fit. And, I approached it different from the rough by having Samantha -- gave her a name -- not understand why they wanted her to file the motion.

Hit-And-Run Rulings


A lawyer told me that he'd stayed up all night working of a brief for federal court. That morning in court, the judge ruled against his motion before he said a word. He asked the court's permission to file the brief anyway since he'd stayed up all night writing it.
